Union Civil War Flag (Ft. Sumter), 3' x 5' Nylon

When the Civil War began, the United States flag had 33 stars, one for each state of the union. After the battle of Ft. Sumter, President Lincoln had to decide whether to remove those of the states that seceeded. Since his mission was to preserve the Union, all of the stars remained.
